Josh Puderbaugh, 2012

“All my life education has been a constant uphill battle for me, and I’ve been on this mountain many, many times, only to be knocked back down. But through all the hard work and constant self-discipline, I’ve made it to the top, and have now received my diploma. This is a moment, along with my marriage to my beautiful wife Kelly, that I will cherish and hold close to my heart forever.”

Melissa Bashor, August 2012

“Having the opportunity to get my high school diploma means so much to me. It has given me the self-confidence, and self-esteem I needed to move forward in life, which I did not have before. It has also opened the door for me to attend college and achieve a career. I’d like to thank you Cathe (My Father’s House), Dan and Greg for making this possible for me.”

Barbara Drake, October 2012

“Getting my HS Diploma means a lot to me. I finally made a positive step forward instead of a step backwards. I was very surprised on how the drop out rate is now. People just need a positive instructor or teacher that believes in them. That way we can believe in ourselves. It just shows that if you do believe in yourself and you want something bad enough, it will happen, even though it may take time. Now that I have finally got my diploma, I can move forward again and get back into school. At first I wanted to go for a CNA license but now that I know how high the current dropout rate is, I want to help students. I want to give them a positive teaching or tutoring experience. Anyone can succeed, you just need to believe in yourself, and now, I believe in myself. Thank you everyone for everything.”

Gabriella Young, 2012

“My high school diploma is a stepping stone to my future. It will enable me to attend Nanny School this fall so that I can further my education. Without my diploma, I wouldn’t be able to attend, which would prevent me from becoming a Certified Nanny.Being a nanny is what I am passionate about. The American School of Success is helping me move forward and accomplish my goals. Thank you for providing this amazing opportunity and inspiring me to succeed.”

Douglas M Ballew Jr, August 2012

“What it means to me to be a High School graduate at 48…. Well, it took me long enough but I did it! If I can do it anybody can do it if they just try. I got by all these years taking job after job of what I knew how to do. Or a job I did not need an education for. I could only dream and wonder what it would have been like 30 years ago. I wanted to go to Ministry College but hit a block. I needed a high school diploma or a GED and thought I would never get there. I was going to give up my dream. I had a hard time in school from the start , and got discouraged in high school so much that I gave up. As time went on I heard about this program and people were graduating, and I thought, “I wish I was not so old to get my diploma”. Well, the people all around me said to me , “you are never too old to get a diploma. So I gave it a shot! Now, thanks to School of Success and My Father’s House, I could not pass this opportunity up. From this day August 17, 2012 forward, I am a High School Graduate at 48. I would like to say thank you to my wife for her encouragement and support. To Cathe, Dan and Greg and all the people behind the scenes, for making this dream a reality.”
